Pellet boilers
Millions of single-family houses in Europe are still heated with oil boilers. Some users choose to install a wood pellet burner on their existing boiler. This solution is a step in the right direction, but the efficiency rating can be as low as 50–60%. A new, complete wood pellet boiler from CTC has an efficiency rating of over 90%.
The best thing about wood pellets is that they are a renewable fuel. The amount of carbon dioxide produced by a wood pellet boiler is equivalent to the amount consumed when new trees grow. This means no contribution to the greenhouse effect.
