Great history, great future

Bentone has passed many milestones. Here are some of the more important ones.
 

1950

Bentone was founded by Karl-Eric Johansson.

1954

Burners in the design of 1 400 rpm are introduced.

1960

Introduction of burners operating with 2,800 rpm.

1967

Bentone moved to new premises.

1954-1973

Several companies like Carat, Billner Chalmers, Ido, Mullsjö, Tulik and more were acquired.

1973

The founder sold the company to Parca Norrahamar.

1970-1980

Pumps with solenoid valves mounted.

Controls mounted on the burners are becoming standard.

Pre-purging improves the starting process.

1980-1985

Preheating and self-closing air damper for domestic burners are developed.

1990-2000

To fulfill new stringent demands, the new range of Low-NOx burners is introduced.

The electromechanical relays are being replaced by electronic versions. 

2001

Bentone becomes part of the Enertech Group. 

2008

The new domestic burner BF1/BFG1 is in several executions introduced to the market.

2010

More focus on products using alternative oils as a fuel. 

The company Turboflame producing industrial oil/gas/biofuel burners is acquired. 

2011

Bentone launches a new website.
